What amount is given for each booster dose?
A second booster dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is available for individuals 18 years and older who received a primary vaccine and booster dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months ago. A second booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is available for individuals 18 years and older with the same certain kinds of immunocompromise at least 4 months after the first booster dose. These are people who have undergone solid organ transplantation, or who are living with conditions that are considered to have an equivalent level of immunocompromise. 
A second booster dose of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine is available for individuals 12 years and older with certain kinds of immunocompromise at least 4 months after receipt of a first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals 50 years of age and older can receive a second booster dose of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after receipt of a first booster dose. People who have received the single dose of Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine are eligible for boosters if they are over 18 years old and it has been 2 months or more since their single dose. People who have received Moderna are eligible for boosters if they are over 18 years old and if it has been 5 months since their 2nd dose. People who have received Pfizer are eligible for boosters if they are over 5 years old and it has been 5 months since their 2nd booster. Update: a first COVID-19 booster shot for is authorized for children 5-11 years old who had their last dose at least five months ago. Need transportation to and from a vaccination clinic?
